US Embassy 2024 Earth Day Photo Contest

The 2024 Earth Day theme is “Planet vs. Plastics.” What are you doing in the fight against plastics?

We encourage you to submit your original photos of creative ways that you, your family or your community are reducing, reusing, and recycling plastics here in Belize. 

The top two youth (16 and under) and top two adult photographers will receive prizes. In addition, the winners will meet Ambassador Michelle Kwan and their framed photos will be displayed in the U.S. Embassy.

Digital photos (under 10 MB) must be emailed to belmopanpas@state.gov by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18.

(Note that employees of the U.S. Embassy Belmopan and their family members are not eligible.)
